Steve Armstrong

Steve Armstrong is MSC Industrial Supply Co.'s Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Steve joined MSC in 2008 as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Steve leads our Legal, Corporate Governance and Customer Contracting/Proposals activities.

From 2006 to 2008, he was a legal consultant providing services for Thomson Reuters and NBC Universal in New York City. For four years prior to that, Steve was the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the Home Shopping Network in Tampa. From 2000 to 2002, he was the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Agilera, Inc., a technology company in Denver. Before 2000, Steve was the Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Samsonite Corporation and a partner in the law firms Paul Hastings and Baker & Hostetler. Steve is a graduate of Columbia Law School and the University of Kentucky.
