John Hill

John Hill serves as Chief Digital & Information Officer for MSC and has responsibility for the company’s digital strategy, eCommerce, vending solutions, technology and advanced analytics.

John joined MSC in 2022 following his role as Chief Digital & Information Officer at Carhartt where he was responsible for leading the company’s digital and technology strategies. He also served as Vice President, Solutions Delivery at W.W. Grainger and was responsible for leading all application development and maintenance for the company. Prior to Grainger, he was the Chief Information Officer and Vice President, Business Transformation at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) for the Province of Ontario, Canada. John has held various roles in executive leadership positions in IT, strategic planning, business development and strategic sourcing. He started his career as an officer in the United States Air Force.

John received a Doctor of Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology, a Master of Arts in Administrative Management from Bowie State University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Air Force Academy.
